On February 11, 2020, 15 3D printed isolated houses were slowly hoisted at Yingchuang Construction Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Qingpu Factory, and the trucks were ready for installation. They will be transported to the Xianning Central Hospital in Hubei, hoping to solve the urgent needs of frontline health care workers and patients in a timely manner at a critical moment in the fight against the epidemic.

In recent years, river repair projects often require materials such as concrete and prefabricated bricks for building rigid dams. Although they are stable, strong and provide sufficient protection, they are also expensive and complicated to construct. More importantly, the excavation and foundation-laying in the traditional construction process may incur secondary pollution to the river, destroying the integrity of the ecosystem and causing environmental problems.

Recently, the 70-meter-long Suzhou City Expressway's first 3D printed sound barrier pilot demonstration project was officially completed on the S58 Shanghai-Changzhou Expressway. It is estimated that the 3D printed sound barrier can effectively reduce noise by about 30 dB, and the noise reduction effect is more obvious than the sound barrier using traditional technology.
