Powerful alliances! Winsun & AECOM participated in building Shanghai Jinshan ecological Coastline

In January 23rd, 2018, Shanghai Jinshan Water Supplies Bureau, Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology, China-Shanghai Waterway Survey and Design Academy, AECOM, Yingchuang Building Technique (Shanghai) Co., Ltd made the first discussion about using 3D printing architecture technology to build Jinshan ecological coastline. Director general of Shanghai Jinshan Water Supplies Bureau, Party secretary Zhao Yun, vice director general and member of the party commmitteee Ju Dongbin attended the meeting.

According to statistics, Shanghai Jinshan coastline up to 23.3 kilometers, west of Shanghai and Zhejiang junction of the Golden Silk Niang Bridge, East Fengxian junction of the Chongque, which is the most famous and early developed coastline in Shanghai, has been the concern of all circles.

The purpose of this discussion is to provide a new plan for the construction of the coastline of Shanghai Jinshan coastline by using Winsun advanced 3D printing architecture technology and combining the AECOM concept and experience of the advanced ecological coastline.

At the meeting, Winsun not only introduces the achievements of 3D printing in building construction and infrastructure production, but also shows the advantages of using 3D print architecture technology in ecological coastline. Yingchuang 3D printing architecture technology is currently leading the world, landing multiple projects; In building ecological coastline, 3D printing architecture technology is not limited by the traditional construction technology and can build different coastal shape flexibly based on the coastline waves, biological, ecological requirements, which not only saves the economic cost of traditional modeling, but also meets the different coastal personality needs.

Winsun 3D printing eco-coastline design and samples

Combining with its Hongkong Tung Chung coast project, AECOM explained to the participants that to build the ecological coastline is to achieve coastal ecology and the concept of artificial anti-wave co-construction concept. AECOM HongKong Tung Chung coast project was built by the specification 1m*1m*1m three-dimensional hollow module, with water storage function. The hollow module leaves the hole suitable for the marine life to enter and leave, causes the coast to prevent the wave to eliminate the wave at the same time and guarantees the coastline biological habitat, thus has reached the coastal ecology and the artificial anti-wave co-construction concept goal.

Ecological coastline model

Participants affirmed the coastal ecology and artificial anti-wave co-construction concept, and look forward that Winsun 3D printing architecture can be applied in the construction of ecological coastline and coastal movable buildings. The eco-coastline design needs to take into account current situation of Jinshan coastline, such as many rubbish, deep sea water, high sediment content, high salinity.

After the meeting, AECOM design team will design a tailored specific construction plan for Jinshan coastline by combining Winsun 3D printing architecture technology.
